Fifteen seconds is a common measuring window: count your pulse for 15 seconds and multiply by four to get beats per minute. This timer shows the time shrinking on a large ring and sounds an alarm at the end, so you can keep your eyes on your wrist instead of a clock. It also works well for quick game turns and short drills.
Ways to use this timer
- Counting your pulse for 15 seconds, then multiplying by four
- Fast sprints or high-knees inside a circuit workout
- Tongue-twister or charades rounds at a party
Questions
How do I work out my heart rate with a 15 second count?
Find your pulse at the wrist or neck, start the timer, count the beats until the alarm, then multiply by four. For example, 18 beats means about 72 beats per minute.
